OpenOffice.org Base 2.0

Something comparable to MS Access, a small, self-containted, database for 'personal' (stand-alone) use.

OO.o Base will use HSQLDB as its engine (not final yet). Discussions on SQLite support are also taking place in so-ooo mailing list.

โปรแกรมฐานข้อมูลใน OO.o 2.0 จะมาพร้อมกับความสามารถในการจัดการฐานข้อมูลด้วยตัวเอง, โดยไม่ต้องพึ่งโปรแกรมภายนอก (อย่างใน 1.x).
การพัฒนาในตอนนี้ ใช้ HSQLDB เป็นหลัก, แต่อาจจะเพิ่มการสนับสนุน SQLite เข้าไปในอนาคต
