There...If you want speakers for notebook, get 2.1. There's no reason to get just 2.0 speakers anymore from price point of view.<BR/><BR/>In case you don't know, 2.1 speakers have some kind of amplifier/filter that will seperate high/mid to 2 speakers and direct low bass to subwoofer. That stereo output from your notebook will become 2.1 automatically and sounds much better.<BR/><BR/>Do not underestimate sound power from your notebook, nice 2.1 speakers will give you pretty good sound from that stereo output and it's good that the bass will be low on the floor, not pumping right out to your ears.(Actualy, you won't get any low bass from 2.0) High and Mid will be very clear and in or about the same level as your ears.<BR/><BR/>Just get the one from good/wellknown brand, like creative, altec lansing. Cheap one should be more than enough for you if you just want to listen to it when you're at the desk.
